I’m not into video games, that’s for sure, but Rock Band has been kind of fun. I started out “playing” Bass but don’t have enough hand-eye coordination yet to move out of the easy level. So I switched the singer and moved to the medium level. Maybe if they come up with a version called “Pop Band” I’ll do better. This weekend has probably been the most time I have spent playing a video game.
It’s been a nice five days off. I took Wednesday off, baked pumpkin pies and took Cody for his check up. Thursday I warmed up a ham (note to self it was better cold) and we went to Jeff’s dad’s with it. Friday, we stayed pretty close to the house (more Rock Band) but I did venture out to find two more inflatables for the yard. Depending on the weather we may put them out next weekend.
Saturday, no little kids to coach so I did a little of my stuff and watched the Tennessee – Kentucky Game. Pretty funny when family and friends call to make sure you are okay after the game. My little Vols blog got mentioned on GoVols Xtra (along with other folks blogging about the game).
Today, we’re just trying to take it easy. I was easily talked into a few more hours of Rock Band today. Need to get back into that working frame of mind before I get too comfortable being at home.
Our friend Ana is supposed to take her citizenship oath tomorrow – no wonder we have so many illegals with all that she went through. BUT she went through it and wants to be a citizen, my hats off to her!
