I’ve been working long manic hours again, so I haven’t had a lot of time for updates. I did find a new to me website for alumni of the high school I went to in Germany.
Megan has gotten all of paper work off to get her Dental Assistant certifications. I’m really proud of her. She stuck through it even though she had days when she really wanted to quit. She’s taken a job as a grocery store cashier until the paperwork is back. She’s already had one disappointing but eye opening interview that pointed out how important these certifications are.
She called me yesterday after trying on these $250+ shoes that are supposed to be great for people who are on her feet all day. Sorry, sweetie, that’s just not something I could afford to buy you – remember your birthday present? I’ve never spent that much money on shoes ever.
Anyhow, I’ve got to start another long day. Trying to also get a lot of software update, seems like every time I logged in to Word Press there’s another update.
Before I forget, I’m going to try and get my few recipes added to this blog.
